Creative expression held within professional psychological care.

Art Therapy at MindCraft Therapy Centre is a dedicated, in-person therapeutic service for emotional expression, healing, and self-understanding through guided creative processes and evidence-based practice.

What it is

A contained space for what words may not fully hold.

Art Therapy allows clients to express thoughts and feelings that may be difficult to verbalise. Sessions are planned with care and supported by a trained therapist.

The creative process is used as a therapeutic pathway, not as a performance. Clients do not need special skills or prior art experience.

Not about artistic skill
Not a casual paint-and-sip activity
Structured psychological intervention
Always conducted in-person
Individualised and carefully planned
Can stand alone or support psychotherapy

Why in-person

Physical materials and a contained therapeutic room matter.

Art Therapy is offered in-person to ensure emotional safety, therapeutic containment, and deeper engagement with the creative process.

Guided materials

The therapist selects and supports creative materials based on client needs and session goals.

Emotional safety

The room, pacing, and therapist presence help hold what emerges during the work.

Therapeutic integration

Art Therapy may be used as a standalone intervention or alongside psychotherapy where appropriate.

Paints, brushes, and paper used for creative therapeutic work.

Art Therapy is strictly in-person.

This is because the therapeutic use of materials, emotional containment, and shared physical space are central to the work. Virtual sessions are available for most other services, but Art Therapy remains a physical, individualized service.
